WHY?

The Orangeburg County Disabilities and Special Needs Board contracts with South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (SCDDSN) to provide services to people with intellectual disabilities, autism, head and spinal cord injuries, and other related disabilities across Orangeburg County. Many people living in our residential facilities, attending day programs, and those living with their families, receive services funded through state, federal and local governments. Unfortunately, these resources are limited, and at times do not meet all the needs of the individuals we serve.

FOUNDATION

The Orangeburg Area Resource Center Foundation (OARC) is a private, nonprofit corporation created for the purpose of providing funds to persons served by the Orangeburg County Disabilities and Special Needs Board. When no other source is available, OARC may provide assistance.
